Dr. Rebecca Reusch
DVM
Veterinarian
Dr. Reusch is a dedicated and compassionate veterinarian who, like so many others, was drawn to the field from a lifelong love for animals. Spending most of her formative life around horses, cats, dogs, pocket pets, and wildlife, it was clear growing up that animals would always be a staple. After years of exploring pathways, from shelter animals to dairy cattle management to living in the Namibian bush tracking black rhinos, she found herself called to companion animal medicine. A life-long New Englander, she attended Tufts University’s Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine prior to moving to the DMV area to complete a year-long internship at Columbia Pike Animal Hospital and Emergency Center and has been proudly serving the DMV community ever since.
With special interests in preventative and geriatric medicine, emergency and critical care, behavior, and overall nurturing of the human-animal bond, Dr. Reusch is committed to providing the highest quality care to pets and peace of mind to their families. She believes in building lasting relationships with clients through clear communication, education, and empathy.
Outside of work, Dr. Reusch enjoys traveling to new places, scuba diving, and, most of all, hiking with her two rescue dogs. She is excited to be a part of the Animal Clinic of Clifton team and looks forward to helping your four-legged family members live long, healthy, and happy lives.
