The Animal Clinic of Clifton welcomes you and your pet!

We want to thank the many new clients that have joined us at the Animal Clinic of Clifton. At this time, we will not be accepting new clients to be able to care for our existing patients and the new patients that have joined us. We will revisit accepting new clients in July 2022.

What to Expect during your visit

Please note – during the pandemic, we have specific Covid-19 policies in place. Please refer to our Covid -19 Update page for more details.

The Animal Clinic of Clifton is located in historic downtown Clifton, in a circa 1890s house. You and your pet (s) will not only be invited into our clinic but will also feel welcomed into our home.

Please Note: We ask that you keep your dog on a leash, and/or your cat in a carrier, at all times. As other dogs and cats may enter the reception area while you are visiting, this will help to maintain the safety of all of our patients. Thank you!

We are excited to meet you and your furry family members!
1

Arrival

As a new client here at the clinic, we promise that you will receive our full attention to all of your pet’s needs. When you arrive for your appointment, you will be asked to fill out some initial paperwork. It is helpful to have a full history when assessing your pet’s medical needs, so please bring records from any previous clinics you may have visited. If we can be of any assistance in obtaining these records prior to your visit, please let us know.
2

Examination

Once we have the initial information complete, one of our doctors will bring you and your pet into our exam room. They’ll start by asking you about your pet’s medical history, their current condition and a little bit more about the reason for your visit. The veterinarian will examine your pet, ask you further questions and possibly recommend diagnostic tests, if needed. The doctor will discuss a possible diagnosis and treatment plan, if warranted. Our assistant may help hold your pet during the examination or diagnostic tests.

Questions

We encourage you to ask questions! We want to make sure you’re completely comfortable with every step of the process and with all the information that is being provided to you.
4

Finishing Up

Once the examination and treatment of your pet is complete, our front desk staff will schedule any needed follow up, process your payment, and finalize any remaining paperwork.
